Creative Growth
My Development Timeline
This page shows the progression of my creative work, experiences, and goals. It highlights the different steps in my development as a designer and the moments that have helped shape my portfolio and future direction.
Development Timeline
I really found my passion for design during my time in highschool. There was a student-run morning show and weekly show, where I dabbled in creating graphics and visuals for the broadcasts. My senior year, I really took on the role of lead designer for the morning show slideshows and played a big role in yearbook, keeping track of photos across sports and activities.
During this time, I started learning various design tools, such as Canva. In the summer, I took it up a notch and started using Photoshop, Illustrator, and other software. I practiced through tutorials and worked on projects that helped me grow.
I started creating more serious work for my portfolio in the fall of my freshman year. I began making LVC football graphics as a way to practice, but little did I know that it would help grow my Instagram page and start making a name for myself. This included sports content, promotional graphics, game day posts, personal projects, and work for other people.
During this time, I started to refine my style and experiment with different design approaches. I focused on learning better composition, stronger typography, cleaner layouts, and a more professional overall design approach.
Right now, I am focused on growing my client base, improving my portfolio, gaining more experience, and creating stronger work for sports and branding projects.
I am focused on becoming a well-rounded designer. I want to continue growing my skills, work with more clients, and create a strong body of work that reflects my style and vision, while achieving my goals through my portfolio and professional growth.
